Thanks! Honestly, if you start simple and make music you like, you'll surpass me in no time. Just keep at it and never drown out your love for music.

After listening through some of your tracks, I'd recommend learning the theory of chords and why they are so important in music. Trust me; once you master chords and chord progressions, you'll see an instant improvement in all aspects of your music. You don't need to know *too* much theory, but a great foundation is key to being able to make what you want to make.

There are heaps of online tutorials and courses you can take to help you learn all the ins and outs of music theory and how it can help you make music. The important thing is not to get intimidated, music really isn't that hard once you figure out what goes where and how everything works. There are a lot of things in music that people will claim are "essential" but really aren't. So keep making music while you learn and you'll pick up what it is that's actually important.
